This is an extremely interesting house built in the 1970’s. The house is now in need of some renovation and our clients required additional accommodation.


Because of the very dominant form of the original building and extremely restricted amount of land upon which to build the new accommodation. The extension aims to politely refer back to the original design but rather than copy it to make a contemporary re-interpretation. The two elements are kept distinct with a simple glass link which forms the entrance.
