This is a new house, currently under construction on a spectacular pinnacle overlooking Wirksworth. The house is designed around the view and the setting. Bedrooms are at ground floor and second floor levels, leaving first floor space open to a fully glazed wall leading onto a balcony which cantilevers out over the hillside.


The house has a traditional pitched tiled roof and typical long-thin plan with a stone rear wall and rendered gables. this ensures the building sits comfortably in its context when seen from a distance.

The elevation to the view however, has consideable glazing and a layering of walls, terraces and overhanging roofs create light, shade and privacy as well as exploiting the marvellous view.
