The existing science classroom was too small and lacked modern teaching equipment. A new building has been designed using bright and cheery finishes and sustainable materials.

The building creates a new courtyard at the entrance to the school with a pond and wildlife garden as a focal point. The large glazed screen to the science classroom faces this tranquil landscape and helps to create a calm teaching environment for children with hearing difficulties. Children using the classroom enjoy the experience and like their new building.
