This specialist photographic gallery now occupies previously redundant bus garages in Sheffield. It was an interesting challenge to use the industrial building to accommodate cutting edge photographic display and equipment.
Site Gallery, Sheffield
The gallery is an educational project with students taking up several site-based courses as well as one off events, seminars and exhibitions. Inherent in this mix was the desire to appeal to people of all ages, to make photography accessible. Careful research was undertaken to establish specialist requirements.
