Practice Philosophy
Our primary practice philosophy is based around consultation and involvement. We always work closely with clients and actively seek opinions and ideas from potential building users and others who may be affected by our designs. This ensures that overall satisfaction levels with the finished project are high and much of our work comes via recommendation or repeat business.
Our practice is regularly requested to provide feasibility work for large scale strategic planning and also to assist community groups and individuals in project planning and funding.

In addition to my work in the office, I am employed by a number of Universities including Nottingham where I spend a day a week in the studio as a design tutor. This helps break up my week as the office always runs at 100 miles per hour, but more importantly keeps me thinking creatively.

Because we work in a busy open plan space, our roles overlap and I enjoy being involved involved in the general creativity of the team as we try to promote interesting architecture within a structured working environment.

I have recently completed my studies and I am now a fully qualified Architect. I enjoy the variety of projects which we have in our office which means from week to week the experience and challenge that work brings is constantly changing.
We put enormous care into the detailed design of all of our work, and I particularly enjoy the opportunity that this brings to explore finishes and materials as well as other aspects of architectural design.
I bring to the office my talent for attention to detail and sensitivity to our client's feeling and aspirations.

Prior to this I was Personal Assistant to the Technical Director at an oil refining company where I was employed for eight years, subsequently working for a short time in the sales department.
I started my early career at British Rail after training in Secretarial and Business Studies.
